Maritime & Commercial Harbor Craft
Clean Air Grants is nationally recognized for its expertise in commercial harbor craft, vessel modernization, and maritime emissions reduction. Our experience includes vessel repowers, hybrid and zero-emission propulsion systems, regulatory compliance, grant funding, and project implementation. To date, we have supported the repower or replacement of more than 400 commercial diesel engines supporting the maritime and ports industry, helping vessel owners reduce emissions while maintaining safe, reliable operations.
Ports, Freight & Goods Movement
We partner with ports, terminal operators, logistics providers, and transportation agencies to develop projects that improve operational efficiency while advancing environmental performance. Our work includes shore power deployment, zero-emission equipment, charging infrastructure, cargo handling equipment modernization, and freight system improvements that strengthen supply chain resiliency.
Fleet Modernization
and Expansion
Our team has successfully supported the replacement, expansion and modernization of on-road and off-road fleets, including school buses, heavy-duty trucks, commercial vehicles, transit fleets, and specialized equipment. From diesel replacement projects to battery-electric and hydrogen technologies, we help clients identify funding opportunities and successfully implement fleet transition strategies.
Infrastructure & Energy
Clean Air Grants supports infrastructure projects that enable the deployment of advanced transportation and energy technologies. Our experience includes electric vehicle charging infrastructure, hydrogen production and fueling systems, city and county microgrid systems, shore power, battery energy storage, utility coordination, and infrastructure planning for public and private sector clients.
Public Agency Programs
We have administered and managed complex funding programs on behalf of state agencies, air districts, ports, and local governments, providing project selection, contracting, compliance monitoring, reimbursement management, inspections, reporting, and program closeout services.
